¿Qué es una banda?
Gabby Jones is entering her first year of teaching band. She graduated from The University of Illinois Chicago with degrees in Music and Music Education. Ms. Jones believes that learning music is one of the best ways for students to express themselves and practice creativity. Her goal is for students to learn problem solving skills, community building, and creativity through making music. Ms. Jones's primary instrument is the trumpet.

¡Bienvenidos a la banda! Aquí encontrarán más información sobre la banda y cómo inscribirse. Espero con ilusión trabajar con su hijo/a en su trayectoria musical. Por favor, tengan en cuenta que los estudiantes de percusión aprenderán a tocar tanto el juego de campanas (glockenspiel) como la batería. Un poco sobre mí: La Srta. Jones considera que aprender música es una de las mejores formas que tienen los estudiantes para expresarse y ejercitar su creatividad. Su objetivo es que los alumnos desarrollen habilidades de resolución de problemas, fomenten el sentido de comunidad y cultiven la creatividad a través de la práctica musical. El instrumento principal de la Srta. Jones es la trompeta.
