Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Woodlawn MS Band. Musical talent is not required to participate. We will teach you how to read music, how to play your instrument and finally how to make music together with your friends and fellow students. Additionally, learning a musical instrument is like doing a full body crossfit workout for your brain and studies have shown that students who participate in Band achieve higher test scores and do better in other subjects than students who do not. Finally, do you like to go on trips and enjoy doing fun things outside of class? Then, Band is your thing and we would be delighted to have you join our team. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing a shiny new instrument in your hands next year here at Woodlawn Middle School!
