What is Band?

Message from the director:

My name is Jennifer Cantrell and I am the band director at John E. Ewing Middle School. I'm excited to get to meet all of you! At Ewing every 6th grader is invited to "Be Part of the Band!" Whether you like singing in choir, beating on a desk, or just think an instrument sounds cool; band is the place for you! Don't worry if you are not sure about what you want to play, we will figure it out. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns. If financial issues are a concern for your student joining band following this unique time, please let them sign up and we will figure it out. Hope you all stay well and I see you soon!
