Message from the director:
Hey everyone! I hope that you will decide to join band at Troutman Middle! August of your 6th grade year is the ONLY time you can join band, so if you think you ever want to play an instrument, NOW is the time to sign up! AND, you can still participate in things like Battle of the Books, Chorus, and computers. Also, you can still participate in any sport because band is a class during school! Percussion starts on mallets/xylophone and then will switch to snare drum in January. Students should determine their first, second, and third choice. The saxophone and percussion sections have to be limited so if one of those are your first choice make a really good second choice! Please let me know if you have any questions!
