What is Orchestra?

Message from the director:

Hello, students and families! Thank you for your interest in strings. This year, third and fourth grade string students may learn how to play the violin, viola, cello or bass. During the first month of school, we will meet on a weekly basis to learn about note and rhythm reading, bow hold, acoustics, instrument set-up and care, etc. If you submitted an interested form in the Spring, you do not need to resubmit the form, unless your instrument selection has changed. Once you submit an interest form, you will receive more information on how to rent an instrument. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me using the information below. I look forward to working with you and your family this year!
