Message from the director:
Band students, and music students in general, have statistically scored higher on standardized tests. Some of the most successful people in America have played an instrument. A few of these people are: Neil Armstrong & John Glenn, Steven Spielberg, Condoleezza Rice, Harry Truman, and Albert Einstein. Band teaches many life lessons. Personal discipline, working well with a group, and learning that hard work pays off are just a few of the lessons that band can teach. As a product of both Stover Middle and LEHS, I am proud to be here giving back to the community that instilled these same values in me at a young age.
