The impact of music education on children is profound.

Music does more than just make sounds, it changes the way we think and act. The skills your child will learn in music will help them be successful on the stage, in the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.

What is Orchestra?

Message from the director:

Dear Future Orchestra Members, Welcome to the Leesville Rd. MS Orchestra Program! You have a GREAT opportunity to learn how to play the Violin, Viola, Cello, or Bass and this experience is totally FREE! ALL INSTRUMENTS and method books will be PROVIDED. The lower strings (Cellos and Basses) will have an instrument at home and at school. No transporting them back and forth! There is an orchestra for every grade and classes meet everyday. Come and have some fun playing the classics as well as today's pop music with your friends. Students will also have the chance to play the electric string instruments. Please fill out the student interest form on this website so I can contact you if needed before the Fall. Thank you, Mr. Mark Stiles
