What is Band?

Message from the director:

Welcome to Band! I'm so excited you are here! There is so much to learn, try and explore that I can't wait to help you get started. I will teach you everything you need to know so don't worry if you don't know the names of the instruments, have never played one or even if you don't know how to read music. Together in class and at home we will master putting together an instrument, making quality sounds, reading & playing the notes, rhythms & other music symbols. I can even help you decide on an instrument and give you more information about how to get an instrument. In the meantime, please fill out an interest form and I will get you registered for band class next school year. I will be in touch with you soon about what to expect and your next step. See you soon!
