What is Band?
Message from the director:
JOINING THE MIS 6TH GRADE BAND IS SIMPLE! If you have interest in band at all, mark band as your first elective choice. Band is a class that is part of the daily schedule, which means there is minimal outside of school requirement to start. If you have ANY questions, just come talk to Mr. Hike in the band room! Most students say that joining band is the best decision they have ever made. I cannot wait to have you in the band next year! When you join band, you gain family! The MIS 6th Grade Band has a history of success, and we need you! While we cannot promise every child will be a musical prodigy, WE CAN promise you will learn, laugh, and grow along the way.
